What does summer mean to the gnomes in your garden???

Long lazy days in a deckchair, enjoying the garden ?... barbeques with carrot wine flowing freely?...Or maybe your gnomes are totally fed up with moles, weeds,greenfly and caterpillars eating the crops ??... Perhaps they brought in their harvest and went on holiday for a well earned rest !!! Only you know !!!
Just write a short story or poem to tell us all about it !!!

hi there, this is my entry for the summer competition. it is my poem:-

I have a little garden,
I dig it every day,
I water all the pretty flowers
and throw the weeds away.

Although the flowers are very scarce,
of weeds there is no lack,
for when I'm fast asleep in bed
they all come creeping back,
and this is most annoying for
as anyone can tell,
they never comeback by themselves
they bring their friends as well !

There was a gnome went flying on a plane.....the plane crashed and he was killed !

Poor gnome !
