An omelette with a difference -

Ingredients

8 oz lean cooking steak.
4 eggs
4oz button mushrooms
a little oil
1 large spanish onion
1 clove garlic
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon tumeric
1 tablespoon Tarragon
around 8oz spinach leaves
a tablespoon cooking oil.
Vinegar
salt

You will need - a food liquidiser
A VERY sharp knife

Method:
slice the onion and garlic into chunks
dice the cooking steak.
Heat the cooking oil in a frying pan under a gentle heat.
Put in the onion, garlic, oregano and turmeric and allow to cook slowly.
Chop the mushrooms into quarters, and add to the frying pan.
Crack the eggs into a bowl and whisk in the tarragon.
Using the sharp knife, chop the spinach leaves into small strips, being careful not to...

OK - place your hand under a running cold tap and bind with a clean tea-towel untill the bleeding stops.

Rinse the blood off the spinach and blend in the liquidiser with the eggs and tarragon for 2 minutes at high speed.

Errrr....You were supposed to put the lid on the liquidiser first !

Using the spatula, carefully scrape the egg mixture from the ceiling and walls, and put in the bin.

Remember the frying onions and garlic ?

Carefully scrape the blackened mass into the bin, and put the frying pan in to soak.

Put the steak down for the cat to have.

Go to the nearest pub and drink beer until you can no longer feel the pain in your hand.
Visit the chippie en-route home, and get a large kebab with chips, curry sauce and mushy peas.
Season to taste with the vinegar and salt !

Bon Appetit !!!
