And yes there is an answer but it requires some lateral thinking....concentrate on the table !!

my boyfriend says their is no roof, so can he climb on the table and get out,

he also said bash the door in with the table.

He broke the table in half... two halves make a whole....so he crawled out through the hole.... Hehehehe <~~~ running fast before you catch me !!!!
