Many thanks to Compost Heap who taught me how to do this...... Its good to have clever friends !!!!

1... Open new answer form
2... Put your name in subject line
3... Look in small boxes along top - click host an image
4... Click Browse
5... Find your picture and click on it
6... Click open
7... Check image is sized for forum
8... Click host it
9... Middle line is Image URL..click copy
10.. Box appears - allow access - yes
11.. Go back to buttons along top of form - click image
12.. Tiny box appears..right click in the space
13.. Select paste
14.. Click ok

Your image should now appear.... dont worry if it appears as code... check preview to make sure....then send...

This looks complicated but I promise you it is not !!!! I can do it LOL!!! I have just made it as simple as possible...

Have I to upload my image to a side like photobucket first, or can I upload the picture from my computer to the forum?

Sorry, if the question is silly. Very Happy

Uploading a picture to the forum ~ simplified instructions Empty uploading garden design

Post  Helen99 Thu May 13, 2010 7:42 pm

I tried to upload my garden design - but I'm having problems. I click on 'host an image' and then I'm asked to subscribe to www.serving.com before I can proceed. But when I try to do this I keep getting a message to say my e-mail address isn't valid, and it won't let me register.

Any suggestions?

Helen.

Hi Bigfoot.... No... we started uploading to photobucket on a different forum and it was more trouble than it was worth...Upload directly to the prepared place in Guild Challenges

Helen99.. I have never had that happen before so Im not sure what is going on...I'll try it out and get back to you ...

Thanks Edwina. I've now got an e-mail to say I'm registered, so I'll have another go at uploading the picture.
